Geboren 1972 auf der Insel Negros, Philippinen. Er schloss 1994 sein Studium der klassischen Philosophie am römisch-katholischen Casiciaco Recoletos Seminar, Baguio City ab; 1995-1999 absolvierte er das vierjährige Theologiestudium an der Recoletos School of Theology, University of Santo Tomas in Quezon City; 2002 machte er seinen Abschluss in Computerprogrammierung am AMA Computer Learning Center. Von 1998 bis 2006 arbeitete er im Recoletos Communications Center; von 2006 bis 2015 war er Verwalter und Dozent für Religionspädagogik, Geisteswissenschaften und Fotojournalismus an der University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos in Bacolod City; von 2016 bis 2018 war er Verwalter und Outreach-Direktor der University of San Jose – Recoletos und Direktor des Recoletos Institute for Disaster and Environmental Management (RIDEM) der Universität. Seit 2006 war er aktiv als nationaler Vorsitzender der Kommission für Sozial- und Umweltbelange und bis 2018 Direktor von ARCORES Filipinas. 2012 wurde er mit dem Fr. Neri Satur Environmental Heroism Award und 2016 mit dem Green Ring Award des Climate Reality Project von Al Gore ausgezeichnet. Im Jahr 2016 war er Mitbegründer der Pusyon Kinaiyahan Internationale (Alliance for Earth International), einer Basis-Umweltorganisation in der Region Visayas.
